I moved to London with no job, no network, and very little money, and quickly found myself in a performance-driven sales environment where income was tied directly to results. In the beginning, it was long hours, low earnings, and constant pressure — with the feeling that if I wasn’t doing more, I was falling behind.

Over time, that changed. I progressed into senior roles, became a top performer across a global team, closed six-figure deals, and managed seven-figure accounts. From the outside, everything looked like it was working. But internally, something was off. Even when work finished, my mind didn’t — always thinking, always checking, always “on.”

It became clear that the problem wasn’t the workload itself, but the inability to switch off from it. I later built and scaled a sales training and placement company, coaching over 100 people into high-performance roles, and saw the same pattern repeatedly: no matter how skilled someone was, their performance always came back to their state.

Alongside this, I had been developing a deeper understanding of meditation, breathwork, and awareness — not in theory, but by applying it within high-pressure environments. I formalised this by becoming a qualified yoga teacher, with the intention of integrating these principles into real-world performance.

What became clear was simple: high performance isn’t just about what you do, but the state you operate from while doing it.
